Hon. Chamara Sampath Dasanayake,— To ask the Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether interviews have been conducted recently for the recruitment for the Post of Sub-Inspector of Police;
(ii) if so, of the number of candidates who have passed the aforementioned interviews;
(iii) of the number of those that will be recruited for the Post of Sub-Inspector of Police;
(iv) whether the recruitment process for the post concerned has been currently suspended; and
(v) if not, of the date on which the recruitments will be made for the Post of Sub-Inspector of Police?
(b) If not, why?
