Hon. Chamara Sampath Dasanayake,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (1)
(a) Will she inform this House —
(i) of the number of acting principals serving in government schools in Sri Lanka;
(ii) of the measures that have been taken regarding the acting principals concerned;
(iii) whether the present government implements the measures initiated by the previous government to promote acting principals; and
(iv) whether permanent appointments will be granted to acting principals?
(b) If not, why?
