Hon. Rohitha Abeygunawardhana,—To ask the Minister of Justice and National Integration,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) number of officers serving in each prison of Sri Lanka separately;
(ii) deficiencies in the infrastructure facilities of those prisons; and
(iii) steps that will be taken to develop the infrastructure facilities of those prisons?
(b) Will he also inform this House of the —
(i) number of rehabilitation centres that have been established for imprisoned persons;
(ii) number of persons being rehabilitated in each of those rehabilitation centres as of now, separately;
(iii) methods that have been used to rehabilitate them?
(c) If not, why?
