Hon. Shanakiyan Rajaputhiran Rasamanickam,— To ask the Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government,—(1)
(a) Will he accept that the —
(i) bridge connecting Periya Porativ and Palukamam areas within the Porativupattu Divisional Secretariat Division of Batticaloa District requires to be reconstructed; and
(ii) people face significant difficulties in using this bridge for transportation?
(b) If so, will he inform this House whether steps will be taken to reconstruct the aforementioned bridge?
(c) If not, why?
