Hon. Ravi Karunanayake,— To ask the Minister of Energy,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether the oil tanks belonging to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation are located inside or outside of the Trincomalee harbor;
(ii) of the total number of oil tanks available in Trincomalee;
(iii) whether the oil tanks belonging to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation have been leased out;
(iv) if so, of the names of the institutions and countries to which these oil tanks have been leased out;
(v) of the income earned by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation from leasing out these oil tanks for each year separately; and
(vi) of the amount of the latest investment made in the Trincomalee Oil Tank project?
(b) If not, why?
