Hon. Chamara Sampath Dasanayake,—To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (1)
(a) Will she inform this House —
(i) whether she is aware that government teachers have been attached to national schools from provincial council schools;
(ii) whether it has been decided not to extend the period for which those teachers have been attached to; and
(iii) as to how will the vacancies arising in national schools for teachers be balanced due to the said non-extension?
(b) If not, why?
