Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara, Attorney at Law,— To ask the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he will table the agreement already entered into by Sri Lanka with the International Monetary Fund;
(ii) of the number of occasions that the said agreement had been amended before the current government came to power;
(iii) of those amendments;
(iv) whether the agreement concerned has been amended after the new government came to power;
(v) if so, of those amendments;
(vi) of the individuals who have granted approval for those amendments;
(vii) whether those amendments have been unconditionally accepted by the International Monetary Fund;
(viii) if not, of the amendments that have been presented by the International Monetary Fund; and
(ix) of the amendments or proposals that have been accepted by the International Monetary Fund, out of those submitted by the Government ?
(b) If not, why?
