Hon. Ajith P. Perera,—To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (1)
(a) Will she inform this House —
(i) whether it is promised in the policy statement ‘A Thriving Nation, A Beautiful Life’ that the cases withdrawn by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption as well as those by the Attorney-General will be reviewed and suitable cases be re-filed;
(ii) of the number of cases withdrawn by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption from 2019 to 2024; and
(iii) of the number of cases that have been re-filed after review, out of those cases?
(b) If not, why?
