Hon. Rohana Bandara,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) quantity of seed paddy in the possession of the government at present;
(ii) quantity of seed paddy, Sri Lanka needed in each of the years from 2020 up to date, separately; and
(iii) measures taken by the government to maintain an adequate stock of seed paddy as the demand for seed paddy has become high because of various weather and climate changes?
(b) If not, why?
