Hon. Rohana Bandara,—To ask the Minister of Labour,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) number of active accounts in the Employees Provident Fund from 2015 to the present, separately for each year;
(ii) annual interest rate paid to the contributor in each year during that period, separately;
(iii) factors considered in determining the annual interest rate; and
(iv) measures taken to further strengthen the Employees Provident Fund?
(b) If not, why?
