Hon. Rauff Hakeem, Attorney at Law,— To ask the Minister of Health and Mass Media,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House, separately of the—
(i) total number of Rapid Antigen Tests and the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 performed by the government and private sector in Sri Lanka from 2019 to 2022; and
(ii) names of the registered local agents for each of the aforesaid tests with the National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA);
(b) Will he also inform this House, separately of the—
(i) unit cost incurred by the government for Rapid Antigen Tests and the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test of the above (a) (i); and
(ii) total cost for the above Tests incurred by the government?
(c) If not, why?
