Hon. Rohana Bandara, —To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the date on which the Land Reform Commission was established;
(ii) of the objectives of establishing that Commission;
(iii) whether he is aware that the lands owned by the Land Reform Commission have been fraudulently acquired by various persons /institutes by now; and
(iv) if so, the measures that are taken to protect the lands owned by the said Commission;
(b) If not, why?
