Hon. Hesha Withanage Ankumbura Arachchi,— To ask the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) number of Sri Lankan workers who went abroad for employment from the year 2018 up to now, separately in each year;
(ii) names of the countries to which they went;
(iii) total amount of foreign exchange received from migrant workers during that period in respect of each year, separately; and
(iv) courses of action that have already been taken and will be taken in the future for their welfare, separately?
(b) If not, why?
