Hon. Hesha Withanage Ankumbura Arachchi,— To ask the Minister of Plantation and Community Infrastructure,— (2)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) contribution made by the tea smallholders to the total tea production in Sri Lanka as a percentage from 2015 to the present, separately in respect of each year;
(ii) total number of tea smallholders as at present;
(iii) number of government institutions dealing with tea smallholders;
(iv) names of those institutions; and
(v) functions performed by each of the aforesaid institutions to uplift the living standards of tea smallholders, separately?
(b) If not, why?
