Hon. Hesha Withanage Ankumbura Arachchi,—To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the volumes of chicken produced in Sri Lanka from the year 2010 up to now, separately in respect of each year;
(ii) whether chicken was exported during the period concerned;
(iii) if so, of the quantities, separately in respect of each year;
(iv) whether chicken was imported during the period concerned;
(v) if so, of the quantities, separately in respect of each year; and
(vi) of the measures that will be taken to improve the chicken industry in Sri Lanka?
(b) If not, why?
