Hon. Ravi Karunanayake,— To ask the Minister of Industry and Commerce,—
(a) Will he inform this House for the years 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012—
(i) the thrust industries that have been focused by the Government;
(ii) the investments done on the aforesaid sectors on per year basis; and
(iii) the additional jobs created in those sectors per year?
(b) Will he state—
(i) the taxes, incentives etc offered to the industries mentioned above then and now; and
(ii) the total revenue obtained from the taxes imposed on the above mentioned industries for the years 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 on per year basis?
(c) If not, why?
