Hon. Dullas Alahapperuma,— To ask the Minister of Justice, Prisons Affairs and Constitutional Reforms,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of religious clergy that is in Remand Prison and imprisoned as at 01st of June 2023 in relation to the clergy in each religion, separately;
(ii) the manner in which they have been categorized on the basis of the accusation levelled at the clergy; and
(iii) among them, the number of the clergy against whom accusations of Child Abuse or Rape have been furnished, separately?
(b) If not, why?
