Hon. Imthiaz Bakeer Markar,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of state universities in Sri Lanka, their names and the names of the faculties in each such university, separately; and
(ii) of the measures that have been adopted to fill the vacancies for lecturers in the above universities?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether lecturers and professors of the universities of Sri Lanka have migrated abroad; and
(ii) if so, the steps that will be taken to avoid such migration in future?
(c) If not, why?
