Hon. M. S. Thowfeek,— To ask the Minister of Public Security,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the Malimbada Police Station has been informed of the removal by an organized gang of the dead bodies of Muslims buried in the cemetery at Soragoda Village, Telijjawila, in Malimbada Police Area in Matara;
(ii) whether a formal investigation has been conducted into the complaint made in this regard to Malimbada Police Station under No. C.I.B.(2) 332/125 on 16.06.2020;
(iii) if so, of the progress of the aforesaid investigation; and
(iv) of the measures that will be taken to prevent the disappearance of dead bodies of Muslims buried in the said cemetery?
(b) If not, why?
