Hon. Niroshan Perera,—To ask the Minister of Agriculture,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether China has made a request from the Ministry of Agriculture to send toque macaques of Sri Lanka for zoos in China;
(ii) what actions have been taken to send the above mentioned toque macaques to China accordingly; and
(iii) the income that could be generated by sending the said toque macaques to China?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) of the measures that have been taken to mitigate the crop damage caused by toque macaques; and
(ii) the allocation that has been made for that?
(c) If not, why?
