Hon. D. Weerasingha,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of dairy cattle in Sri Lanka at present;
(ii) of the annual requirement of liquid milk in Sri Lanka;
(iii) of the extent of grazing land reserved for dairy cattle;
(iv) of the areas in which such grazing lands are situated; and
(v) whether action will be taken to provide dairy cattle to meet the liquid milk requirement of Sri Lanka;
(b) If not, why?
