Hon. Ishak Rahuman,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of Pirivenas situated in the Anuradhapura District;
(ii) of the number of teachers currently serving at those Pirivenas;
(iii) of the educational qualifications that are considered for the recruitment of teachers to Pirivenas;
(iv) whether there are any vacancies for teachers in Pirivenas at present;
(v) if so, of the number of such vacancies; and
(vi) of the measures that will be taken to improve Pirivena education?
(b) If not, why?
