Hon. Sajith Premadasa,— To ask the Minister of Agrarian Services and Wildlife,—
(a) Will he admit that a number of measures are being taken to deprive the tenant farmers of their tenant rights even at present though the protection of their tenant rights was expected through the Agrarian Development (Amendment) Act No 46 of 2011 ?
(b) If so, will he inform of this House, the measures that will be taken to rectify the aforesaid situation ?
(c) If not, why?
