Hon. Kins Nelson,— To ask the Minister of Transport and Highways,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he is aware that there was a program to recruit persons who had successfully completed the courses conducted by the Ceylon German Institute of Technical Training into the Sri Lanka Railways Department;
(ii) if so, the number of persons thus recruited since 2015; and
(iii) the current program of recruiting persons with advanced technical knowledge for the service of the Sri Lanka Railway Department?
(b) If not, why?
