Hon. Samanpriya Herath,— To ask the Minister of Industries,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the machines used for weaving Handloom cloth is manufactured in Sri Lanka;
(ii) if not, whether they are imported;
(iii) the number of machines manufactured in Sri Lanka from 2015 to date; and
(iv) the amount of money spent annually to import raw materials required for weaving Handloom cloth?
(b) If not, why?
