Hon. Ravi Karunanayake,— To ask the Minister of Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare,—
(a) Will he inform this House for the last 2 years on per year basis—
(i) the total number of foreign tours made by the Minister of Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare;
(ii) the names of the countries so visited; and
(iii) the necessity to achieve the objective set regarding such visits?
(b) Will he state—
(i) the number of officials accompanied by the Minister and the cost incurred for each visit separately; and
(ii) whether the funds used for the aforesaid tours were public money or money granted by the governments of the countries visited?
(c) If not, why?
