Hon. Milan Jayathilake,—To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House—(1)
(i) whether he is aware of the fact that a large number of new inventions have been invented to enable the alternative energy consumption owing to the shortage of gas and the sky rocketing of gas price;
(ii) whether he is aware of the fact that the foreign exchange expenditure on gas imports, could be saved by promoting the above inventions; and
(iii) of the steps taken as of now to encourage the inventors and the consumers of the above inventions separately?
(b) If not, why?
