Hon. Mayadunna Chinthaka Amal,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture and Plantation Industries,—
(a) Will he inform this House,—(1)
(i) of the number of coconut seedlings that have been distributed by the Coconut Cultivation Board from 2019 up to now, separately according to each district and year;
(ii) of the amount spent by the Board for the distribution of the said seedlings, separately for each year;
(iii) of the criteria that were considered in distributing coconut seedlings; and
(iv) whether follow up is done regarding the progress of the seedling distribution programme?
(b) If not, why?
