Hon. Mayadunna Chinthaka Amal,— To ask the Minister of Urban Development and Housing,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the surveys in regard to the coastal zone of Sri Lanka, have been completed; and
(ii) of the extent of land belonging to the Coast Conservation and Coastal Resource Management Department, in hectares?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether coastal conservation projects have been awarded to the private sector;
(ii) if so, of the locations where such projects will be carried out; and
(iii) of the procedure, adopted in awarding aforesaid projects to the private sector?
(c) If not, why?
