Hon. Kins Nelson,— To ask the Minister of Irrigation,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the number of Mahaweli Systems that have been established in Sri Lanka;
(ii) the names of those Systems;
(iii) the contribution received from the Mahaweli Systems on the food production of Sri Lanka from 2015 up to date as a percentage in relation to each year, separately; and
(iv) the steps that would be taken to enhance the above contribution even further?
(b) If not, why?
