Hon. Rohana Bandara,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the area under maize cultivation in Vanni Palugollawa village in the Anuradhapura district;
(ii) whether the maize crop has been affected due to a new virus; and
(iii) if so, of the measures that will be taken to provide relief to the farmers, cultivating maize in the aforesaid village?
(b) If not, why?
