Hon. Gayantha Karunatileka,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the methodology adopted to implement the proposal made by the 2011 budget to provide an allowance of one lakh of rupees to the war heroes serving in the security forces, at the birth of their third child ;
(ii) of the ranks in security forces that will be provided with the aforesaid allowance ; and
(iii) whether active service is considered in providing the aforesaid allowance?
(b) If not, why?
