Hon. Gayantha Karunatilleka,— To ask the Minister of Mass Media,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the number of television channels and the number of radio channels registered in Sri Lanka, separately;
(ii) the names of the said channels, separately;
(iii) whether he accepts there are discrepancies between license conditions for television channels and for radio channels; and
(iv) whether steps will be taken to eliminate such discrepancies and create uniformity?
(b) If not, why?
