Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara,— To ask the Minister of Finance and Planning,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the number of private companies owned by the government at present;
(ii) separately, the names of those companies and the relevant ministries;
(iii) the names and the addresses of the members of the Board of Directors of each of the companies;
(iv) separately, the percentage of the shares owned by the government and the percentage of the shares owned by the private sector in each of the aforesaid companies;
(v) the names and the addresses of the private investors who have invested money in each of the companies; and
(vi) separately, the net profit earned or the loss incurred by each of the aforesaid companies in the years 2009 and 2010?
(b) If not, why?
