Hon. Ravi Karunanayake,— To ask the Minister of Finance and Planning,—

(a) Will he state—

(i) the number of Chinese projects that the Sri Lankan government got involved with, from 2005 to 2011;

(ii) the names of those projects; and

(iii) the Chinese Aid component in comparison to the full value of the each project?

(b) Will he also state—

(i) the number of Chinese workers that are requested by the Chinese company to be employed here separately on per project basis ;

(ii) whether the requests of the Chinese companies pertaining to employing Chinese workers were agreed to; and

(iii) if so, the justification and compelling reason to agree to their requests?

ගරු කථානායකතුමනි, මුදල් හා ක්‍රම සම්පාදන අමාත්‍යතුමා වෙනුවෙන් මා එම ප්‍රශ්නයට පිළිතුර දෙනවා.

(අ) (i) 2005 වර්ෂයේ සිට 2011 වර්ෂය දක්වා කාලය තුළ ශ්‍රී ලංකා රජය, චීනය හා සම්බන්ධ වී ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන ලද ව්‍යාපෘති සංඛ්‍යාව 42 (හතළිස් දෙක)කි.

(ii) එම ව්‍යාපෘතිවල නම් ඇමුණුමෙහි 2වැනි තීරුවෙහි දැක්වේ. එම ව්‍යාපෘති 42ම එහි දැක්වෙනවා. ඇමුණුම සභාගත* කරමි.

(iii) එක් එක් ව්‍යාපෘතියේ සමස්ත වටිනාකමට සාපේක්ෂව චීන ආධාර ප්‍රමාණය ‍ඇමුණුමෙහි 8වැනි තීරුවේ දක්වා ඇත.

(ආ) (i) අ(i) හි සඳහන් ව්‍යාපෘති 42න් චීන ජාතික ශ්‍රමිකයන්ගේ සහාය ලබාගෙන ඇත්තේ ව්‍යාපෘති 14ක් සඳහා පමණි. එම සංඛ්‍යාවන් ඇමුණුමේ 11වන තීරුවේ දක්වා ඇත. තවද, එසේ චීන ජාතිකයන් වැඩි වශයෙන් සේවයේ යොදවා ඇති ව්‍යාපෘති ඇමුණුමෙහි 11වන තීරුවෙහි දක්වා ඇති පරිදි උප ව්‍යාපෘති ගණනාවකින් යුක්ත වේ.

(ii) මෙම සියලුම සේවකයින් තාක්ෂණික සේවාවන් සඳහා එනම්,
