Hon. Premalal Jayasekara,— To ask the Minister of Highways,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the date on which the implementation of the “I-Road Project” in Ratnapura district was commenced;
(ii) the length of the roads in that district approved for development by carpeting; and
(iii) the number of contractors who have entered into agreements under the said project?
(b) Will he also state separately—
(i) the names and lengths of the roads each of the said contractors agreed to develop;
(ii) the names and lengths of the roads out of those that have been developed and commissioned to the public by now; and
(iii) the names and lengths of the roads that have not been completed by now?
(c) Will he further state the measures that will be taken to develop the roads that have not been completed?
(d) If not, why?
