880/2020 Hon. (Dr.) Suren Raghavan,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance,— (a) Will he inform this House— (i) whether a cabinet decision had been taken to implement a programme called “Gamperaliya”; (ii) of the objectives of the aforesaid programme; (iii) of the period it was implemented; (iv) of the amount allocated for the programme; (v) of the total number of projects implemented under the programme; (vi) of the amount spent for each project; and (vii) of the total expenses borne for the subject minister and his staff with regard to the “Gamperaliya” programme during the period it was implemented ? (b) Will he also inform this House, whether the relevant Divisional Secretaries can guarantee that each project implemented under the “Gamperaliya” programme had delivered the expected outcome? (c) If not, why ?
