Hon. Kins Nelson,— To ask the Minister of Lands,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether paddy lands and the high lands have been acquired by the government to establish a Dedicated Economic Zone under the Kaduruwela City Expansion Project; and
(ii) if so, the extents of the paddy lands and the high lands and the names and the addresses of the owners?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether compensations have been granted for the lands, acquired; and
(ii) if so, separately, the amount of compensation paid for each individual and their names and addresses?
(c) Will he further inform this House—
(i) whether there were business ventures by the main road which were fully or partially removed under aforesaid project;
(ii) if so, separately, the names and the addresses of the owners;
(iii) whether compensations have been granted to the owners by the government; and
(iv) separately, the amount of compensation paid for each individual and their names and the addresses?
(d) If not why?
