Niroshan Perera,— To ask the Minister of Wildlife & Forest Conservation,— Will he inform this House whether illegal prawn farming is taking place in Anawilundawa bird sanctuary (Ramsar Wetland)? Will he also inform this House— whether he admits that abandonment of prawn traps used for prawn farming and using them after restoration happen in that area; and the steps taken to stop the aforesaid illegal prawn farming? If not, why?
