Thushara Indunil Amarasena,— To ask the Minister of Labour,— Is he aware that— the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment has been faced up with a dire financial crisis; and as a result, even payment of salaries has become a difficulty? Will he inform the House— of the total number of employees serving in the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment at present; whether a decision has been taken to give them a three-month holiday on half pay; and the measures that will be taken by the Ministry in order to strengthen the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment financially? If not, why?
