Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Justice,—
(a) Will he admit that the people who seek the service of Sri Lanka Police will be immensely benefitted through the appointment of at least one legal professional as a police prosecutor for one magistrate court division for obtaining legal advice and for solving the legal disputes of people expeditiously?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether there is possibility of taking necessary steps to establish the aforesaid new position; and
(ii) if so, what the aforesaid relevant actions are?
(c) If not, why?
