52/ 2020 Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri , - To ask the Minister of Labor ,- (a) Will he inform this House- (i) of the total number of Sri Lankan employees in abroad , by now ; (ii) of the names of the countries in which aforesaid employees are employed at ; (iii) separately, of the number of employees employed at each country ? (b) Will he also inform this House (i) of the measures that have been taken by the Ministry for the welfare of the Sri Lankan foreign employees , distressed due to Covid – 19 pandemic ; (ii) of the measures that have been taken by the Ministry to bring them back to the country? (c)If not, why?
