06/2020 Hon Hesha Withanage ,- To ask the Minister of Education;- ,- (a). Will he inform this House – (i) of the number of Dhamma schools that have been registered in Sri Lanka as of today; (ii) of the benefits provided by the government to the teachers teaching in the aforesaid Dhamma schools; (iii) Whether the services of the said Dhamma school teachers are provided on voluntarily basis; (iv) If so, of the programmes that have been planned for the betterment of the teachers teaching in the Dhamma schools? ( b). If not , why ?
