Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,— To ask the Minister of Environment and Wildlife Resources,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the names of institutions that take decisions pertaining to garbage, handle matters pertaining to garbage and come under the purview of the Ministry of Environment and Wildlife;
(ii) whether officers of these institutions have gone abroad on study tours related to the management of garbage from year 2010 up to now;
(iii) if so, of the names and designations of such officers along with details of their study tours abroad;
(iv) separately the amount of money spent on each of these educational activities; and
(v) of the manner in which the knowledge gained by the officers who participated in the aforementioned study tours has been utilized for the purposes of the Ministry?
(b) If not, why?
