Hon. Lakshman Yapa Abeywardane,— To ask the Minister of Education,—(1)
(a) Will he state—
(i) whether he acknowledges that the limited competitive examination for the recruitment to Grade III of the Sri Lanka Principals’ Service was held in the year 2015;
(ii) whether he is aware that interview was held in March 14,15,16,17,18,19,20 in the year 2015;
(iii) the basis of recruitment of persons who were recruited from the said interview;
(iv) whether he will submit the list of appointees to this House;
(v) whether he admits that the candidates who were not selected from the interview were given an opportunity to submit appeals; and
(vi) whether he is aware that 43 of them were granted appointments?
(b) Will he also state —
(i) whether he is aware that Mrs. S.K.K. Gunathilake who appeared the interview under the number 1487 submitted an appeal was not called for the interview;
(ii) the reasons for not calling her for this interview; and
(iii) if she had not been called for the interview due to an oversight, whether action will be taken to call her for an interview again and take action to recruit her if she has fulfilled the qualifications?
(c) If not, why?
