(a) Will he inform this House of the amount spent to purchase tear gas for the use of Police Department from the year 2013 to 2017, separately with respect to each year?
(b) If not, why?

(a) No tear gas has been purchased for the Sri Lanka Police during the year from 2013 up to the 2016.
The amount incurred to purchase tear gas for the year 2017 is Rs. 10,809,800.00 (with all taxes and levies)
