0784/’10 Hon. (Mrs.) Anoma Gamage,— To ask the Minister of Livestock and Rural Community Development ,— Will he state separately in relation to each district of the Eastern Province, the number of dairy farmers ; the number of litres of milk produced monthly ; the number of litres of milk purchased by the government ; the subsidies provided by the government for dairy farming and the amount of money spent on them annually ? Will he inform this Home, the programmes expected to be implemented by the government to enhance dairy production in each district of the Eastern province in future ; the amount of money expected to be spent on each district by the government for that purpose ? If not , why?
