Hon. Thushara Indunil Amarasena,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock Development, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) separately of the profit earned/ loss incurred by the Paddy Marketing Board annually from year 2010 onwards;
(ii) separately of the quantity of paddy purchased from farmers of each District during each season in each year within the aforementioned period; and
(iii) if the Paddy Marketing Board has incurred any losses during this period, of the reasons that caused those losses?
(b) If not, why?
