Hon. Thushara Indunil Amarasena,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Economic Affairs, Livestock Development, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House,
(i) the reservoirs and tanks, out of the reservoirs and tanks in the North Western Province to which fresh water fish was released after the government of good governance came to power;
(ii) whether he is aware that the fresh water fish industry suffered a severe setback owing to the drought and floods that hit that province recently; and
(iii) the steps the ministry will take to develop the fresh water fish industry in the North Western Province?
(b) If not why?
