Hon. Indika Anuruddha Herath,— To ask the Minister of Finance,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the total amount of mortgage loans obtained from state banks by Sri Lankan citizens from 01.01.2014 to 01.01.2015;
(ii) out of the above, of the amount of loans obtained by pawning Jewellery;
(iii) separately of the number of men and women who have obtained loans with a value less than Rs. 200,000 by pawning Jewellery; and
(iv) of the amount of loans mentioned in (i) above, as a percentage of the total loans issued during the said time period?
(b) If not, why?
